During our course(s) students are giving the unique opportunity to come head to head with a potential attacker. Instructors dressed in body suits assume the role of the "bad guy" while the student can practice and exhibit the moves they are thought without the fear of anybody getting hurt!
Krav Maga originally developed for the Israeli armed forces has been adapted for the civilian populus. The practical nature for the techniques makes Krav Maga easy to learn and easy to remember!
The physical techniques and philosophy behind the program are based on the belief that students already possess the ability to defend themselves.
The appeal of Krav Maga is the lack of rituals, such as bowing or other types of formality. We deal with reality. It's not based on any 5,000-year old sy`tem. It's based on what happens to people today on the streets when they're attacked. Krav Maga has attracted students ranging from housewives to police offices to others looking to expand their martial arts expertise.
When teaching Krav Maga, instructors keep reminding students that they are the ones going home after fighting someone.
You do what comes natural for you ...After the first day, a person can say "Hey, I can do this."
THE BULLET MAN
There is probably no other Martial Art in the world more street and battle-tested than Krav Maga.
Krav Maga is the official fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces and has been adopted by many international security agencies including the FBI, DEA and local law enforcement agencies
Krav Maga has a long and credible history and is regarded by many to be the best self-defense system around. We know Krav Maga works and it works under stress. All Krav Maga techniques are tried and tested in real-life situations:
When you learn Krav Maga you can rest assured you are learning techniques that are proven to work. Krav Maga is quick to learn and easy to retain. Krav Maga has no sporting applications, although there is a grading system for people who wish to monitor their own progress.
It's high energy, easy to learn, Students adapt quickly to Krav Maga, which teaches fast, instinctive, and natural responses to the threats they are likely to face from an attacker. This is not a martial art, but an easy to learn, structured self defense system originally developed in the 1950's for Israeli commandos.
Elements of stress and fear are introduced into the class so that students will learn to deal with the anxiety they might experience in a street altercation. Taught at an exhilarating pace, Krav Maga students are encouraged to keep going when they are tired, which adds to both the fitness and realistic aspects of this civilian combat system.
It is our belief that everybody, no matter what age, weight, gender or body type, has the right to defend themselves and their
loved ones.
